EAA “Best Paper Presentation Awards" for Young Researchers
At the Euronoise 2009 conference EAA has offered for the first time three “Best Paper Presentation Awards” to young researchers who have applied for the awards and presented a paper at the conference. The Awards were sponsored by the Head Genuit Foundation.
Ten young researchers applied for these awards. A jury (Keith Attenborough, Peter Svensson and Michael Vorländer) was nominated by the EAA Board to make the selection based upon the quality of both the content of the paper and its presentation.
After the selection process, the jury announced that the "Best Paper Presentation Awards" for Euronoise 2009 go to (in alphabetical order):
1. Annelies Bockstael, Universiteit Gent, Belgium
2. Grégoire Lepoittevin, ETH Zürich, Switzerland
3. Vicent Romero García, Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, Spain
Congratulation to the winners!
