Getting your personal subscription

As a member of one of the national societies belonging to the European Acoustics Association or as a corresponding member of the European Acoustics Association, you can get personal access to online articles that appeared in Acta Acustica united with Acustica since 2001, at a moderate subscription rate. To make use of this offer, please follow the steps below.

1. Obtain your personal subscription number

Starting from 2007, your national acoustical society should give you the option to select online access as an alternative for the CD subscription. In general online access and CD should come at the same price, but some societies may decide to apply slightly different rates. In addition to indicating your preference, you will have to fill in and sign the "Terms and Conditions of Use for Online Access" form and return it to your national acoustical society (or to the European Acoustics Association directly for corresponding members).

If you were not given the option to select online access, please ask your national society about it!

Your acoustics society will periodically forward a list of subscribers to the publisher via the EAA. You will then receive your 6-digit personal subscription number via email.

2. Individual registration and subscription activation on Ingenta Connect

In order to register and activate your journal subscriptions please go to www.ingentaconnect.com/register/personal or alternatively click on "sign up here" from www.ingentaconnect.com

• Enter your information in the fields provided
• Choose a username and password (username/password must be at least 5 characters)

Once you have entered in all relevant information, please click on "register".

You can then set up your subscriptions by clicking on "personal subscriptions", and then selecting the "Add" tab.

• Search for the journal title(s) you subscribe to
• Enter in your personal subscription number, tick next to the journal title, and then press "add"

You will then receive a confirmation message that your request has been received. An e-mail will then be sent out when access has been set up.

To request access to additional titles just sign in with your username and password, and select the "personal subscriptions" option under "Manage My Ingenta". You can then view the titles to which you currently have access, or activate new ones on the "Add" tab
