promote international cooperation within different specific fields of acoustics, provide assistance in organizing EAA events, suggest special issues for Acta Acustica or Acoustics in Practice, initiate studies and prepare documents such as strategies, policy statements, state-of-the-art assessments, reports, etc, within its defined technical field.

INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON ACOUSTICS, ICA2028 joint with FORUM ACUSTICUM 2028, FA2028 (Funchal, Madeira, Portugal)

The conference will take place between September 11-14, 2028, in Madeira island. Madeira is a Portuguese archipelago situated in the North Atlantic Ocean, southwest of Portugal. Madeira island is one of Portugal’s most appealing destinations and well-known by its mild climate all around the year. 

The Congress Venue for hosting the ICA2028 Congress will be Hotel Pestana Casino Park which benefits from an exclusive and ideal location, close to the sea.
